Manna

(ESV) Ephesians 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,
12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.
13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.

Kind of a parallel verse to yesterday's...this is so clear, we were SEALED by God! That's not sealed like a ziplock. We know those break....instead it means marked or set apart, maybe branded...and are given the Spirit as a partial payment, an earnest deposit of the final sum, which is redemption. I believe many who call themselves Christians are just being decieved. Without the Spirit, there is no seal, if no seal, judgement will follow based on our works not Christ's. That won't turn out well, no matter what we claim we did for Christ.

In His Love,
Steve
