Manna - June 1

Ezekiel 37:3 (NASB) He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" And I answered, "O Lord God, You know."
4 Again He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.'
5 "Thus says the Lord God to these bones, 'Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life.

As we literally prepare to celebrate the life of Rose Hall, I am overwelmed with the sense ofthe more "dead" I am to the World and my Flesh, the more useful I will be to the Lord. We all have times in the desert and times of plenty, spiritually speaking. But even during the times when we have strayed to the desert, we always have, as in the parable of the prodigal son, a gracious forgiving Daddy at our Spiritual home who won't berate our failures, but instead, kill the fatted calf and throw a party at our preturn.

Praise God for Grace today, but ask Him to help you carve away the unlovely parts for His Glory and Use.

Steve
