Exciting new announcement! Ok most of you won't care, but I have figured out how to set up a blog.
All of these emails are now posted to my new blog, www.joyjournal.net. You can go back to look at previous emails without having to hunt them up in your archives. You can also post stuff to Facebook or Twitter.
If anyone has anything they would like to post, prayer requests, praise reports, etc, please forward them to me and I'll get them up as soon as possible.
Today, please remember Matthew Marks in prayer, he was pitching the other night and broke a bone in his arm and is having surgery today.
(NASB)2 Timothy 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
It is easy to think of other people needing the teaching, reproof, correction and training, But as Jesus said we must remove the plank from our own eye before removing the speck in our brothers eye. We each need to have a partner who will help us in each of these areas.
Several of the people that receive this email do just that for me, but we each need a person on both sides of the equation, someone who does these things for us and someone for us to do this. That is the Christian model.
So we need to get into Scripture every day, not just for ourself and our Savior, but in order to fulfill our place in the Body.
