Proverbs 10:15-17 NASB
The rich man's wealth is his fortress,
The ruin of the poor is their poverty.
The wages of the righteous is life,
The income of the wicked, punishment.
He is on the path of life who heeds instruction,
But he who ignores reproof goes astray.
We have been given such a fantastic resourse in the Word, but many devote little time to studying it or reading. In the Word, we are given the instructions for leading the righteous life, the joyful life, but those who spend little time in the Word are defenseless to the World's seductions, leading to ruin.
