Manna

(NASB) I Corinthians 3:7 So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.
8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.
10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it.
11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

We all should have the assignment of planter, waterer or harvester, but always keep in mind as the text says, it isn't you doing the work. Are job is mearly to be a vessel of truth and love shining the bright beam of salvation into the dark corners of our community. Saving conviction only comes from the Father, guilt about the consequences of our action, although painful, isn't necessarily conviction of sin. Think about the prodigal son....Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I do not deserve to be called your son...He didn't say, I'm starving to death and I need a piece of bread.

What an honor to be God's fellow workers, but before we build into someone else, we must make sure that the foundation of Christ is laid and carefully, by the wisdom off the Holy Spirit, build on it.

Praise Him for His mercy and grace,

Steve
